Covid-19 Updates

The latest from UNC Greensboro

Dear UNCG Employees,

As you may have seen, the stay at home order issued jointly last month by Guilford County, Greensboro, and High Point will expire tonight (April 16, 2020) and will not be renewed. UNCG and our community are still subject to similar statewide mandates. The local decision helps ensure alignment with state orders. Therefore this local change has no operational impact on UNCG and employees should continue to follow previously communicated policies and procedures.

As before, these orders are designed to create a significant reduction in activity and keep people home as much as possible. We understand the ongoing challenges our faculty and staff are facing as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. Please remember that the services of ComPsych, the provider of the University’s Employee Assistance Program, are available to you and your dependents at no charge. ComPsych has a number of resources available to help you and your family manage the impact of COVID-19.

Please monitor the NC Department of Health and Human Services for regular updates. Also please frequently check our dedicated coronavirus webpage, follow @UNCG social media channels, and download the UNCG Mobile app for your phone (see iTunes App store or the Google Play app store).
