UNCG Campus Community,
Previously, you were invited to a virtual town hall forum with UNC Greensboro Chancellor Franklin D. Gilliam, Jr. and Provost Dana Dunn, to be hosted by the Faculty and Staff Senates on Wednesday, March 25. Due to a mandatory System-wide meeting involving the Chancellor and Provost, we must move the start time of this event to 4 p.m. (previously 3 p.m. start time), still on Wednesday, March 25.
All other details communicated earlier remain the same: The town hall will be held online only, and can be accessed in the Faculty Senate’s virtual meeting room located at uncg.webex.com/meet/facsen. Instructions on using Webex are found below, as well as instructions for participating by phone.
The Chancellor and Provost will spend the first half of the forum addressing the most pressing questions previously submitted by faculty and staff, and then open it up for general Q & A. The session will be recorded and posted on both senate websites. Here is the agenda.
There are two options to join the forum:
- Attend via video conference: uncg.webex.com/meet/facsen (User Guide | Text Version). You can use chat, video, and audio (please remain muted at all times unless recognized by the floor). It is recommended that you test access at least 30 minutes before the town hall. You will automatically be muted upon entry. Two moderators will be standing by via chat to assist you with any questions or concerns once you enter. During the forum, please submit questions by going to go.uncg.edu/townhall (this is an online form that will be turned on at the start of the session) to the moderators.
- Attend by calling in: Dial 415.655.0002, then enter access code 801 035 104.
We want to thank the faculty and staff for their engagement in this event. We have already received about 80 questions covering a variety of important themes. Please plan to attend the forum at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25.
